Programme

Supermarkets serve a large group of citizens and hold important levers to make the food system more sustainable. They are taking many initiatives, but scaling up practices remains difficult. What are the hurdles and conditions for structural sustainability? We discussed these questions with supermarkets in a series of kitchen table discussions. The result of these conversations is the starting point of this symposium. Together with various stakeholders and the audience, we imagine the 'supermarket of tomorrow'.

This symposium is part of 'Erfood, het Culinair Erfgoedfestival van Leuven'.
